One of our CCTV crews went out to inspect outfall lines in North Vancouver at the grain terminals and confirm condition, direction and attempt to locate upstream access points.
First, we had to clear out the rock that had accumulated at the outfalls so the camera equipment could be installed into the lines.
An on-site crane made accessing the outfalls about as safe and comfortable as possible.

One of our clients was looking for a reliable way to compare post-construction pipe ovality in a section of 'undiggable' large bore wood stave storm pipe over a period of six months.
By using our laser profiler to project a ring of laser light on the interior of the pipe, then analyzing the data with the profiling software we were able to determine the exact degree of ovality as well as how much change occurred between each of the post-construction inspections.
Using this method of survey to inspect pipes in the per-construction phase is an excellent way to confirm if ovality occurs during construction also.

100m of 900mm liner installed in culvert
A culvert needed replacement and with limited entry on to the easements, and steep ravines involved, Mar-tech rose to the challenge.
Erecting special scaffolding and using a crane to stage the wetted liner, the crew installed the liner in one day and did the clean up the next.
Because of the environmental concerns the use of process water was kept to a minimum and air/steam was used for inversion and curing.
