Hydro-Excavation

Hydro-Excavator

Hydro-excavation uses pressurized water to loosen soil, in combination with a high-powered vacuum system that removes the soil from the area and loads it directly onto the truck for conveyance from the work site.

One of the greatest benefits of using hydro-excavation over other typical forms of excavation is its ability to safely and quickly “dig” in areas where other utilities might be present, without risk of interruption and/or damage to these systems, or injury to workers and others.

Hydro-Excavation can be used to efficiently expose small, delicate fittings and other buried utilities for repair, and also clear material from partially exposed equipment where better access is needed. Hydro-excavation is a non-damaging way to quickly expose buried utilities (gas lines, electrical, fiber-optic, watermains, sewer services, etc). It is an excellent method for borehole digging for utility, lightpole, fence and signpost installation and is very well-suited for excavation in sensitive areas where precision is required.
